Compact design, reducing the number of potential leak points, thus reducing the weight of the whole machine
The shank of the bonnet is not wetted to avoid jamming and leakage.
Even under high pressure, smooth valve drive for trouble-free operation and long service life
Metal seat for BS 6755/ISO 5208 Class A leak rate and sealed for leak test
Microleak Test
Description
Due to the one-piece design, the IVM flange valve can withstand high overpressure. This type of flange ensures that the measuring instrument is mounted directly and securely on the process flange. In addition, the metal and graphite seals used are also capable of operating at high temperatures.
By combining valves with pressure gauges, diaphragm seals or level gauges, it can be used in critical applications such as refineries or steam generation systems. IVM can be used in chemical applications where “microleakage testing” or critical process gas applications are required. Metal seats with hermetic leak testing make these valves ideal for acid gas and natural gas processing plants or nitrogen production plants.
It should also be mentioned that the ultra-finishing of the internal parts of the valve (such as the spindle and the spindle head) ensures very smooth and precise operation even under high pressure, and avoids valve leakage or Stuck. OS&Y bonnets are specially developed to meet the highest international standards for the direct installation of IVM flange valves on pipelines or vessels.
WIKA offers professional assembly services that integrate different components and valves into a pre-installed connection solution.
