Description
When the process temperature needs to be displayed locally or in an inaccessible place, and the circuit must be switched at the same time, a gas-filled thermometer with a live contact can be used.
With its versatile design, the TGS73 airbag thermometer has a variety of process connections that can be installed in different locations. For the version of the adjustable head, the angle of view can be adjusted according to actual needs. For surface measurement versions (not directly in contact with the media), the temperature can be measured and controlled even if the pipe is very small. The surface measurement version is suitable for installation on the outside of pipes and tanks. When installing such a thermometer, it must be ensured that the entire surface of the temperature sensor pack is in contact with the measuring point.
Electrical contact switch (also known as <; alarm electric contact”) can turn the circuit on or off according to the pointer position of the measuring instrument. The electric contact switch is adjustable over the full range. The meter pointer (actual value pointer) can be rotated freely over the entire range without being affected by the settings. The set pointer can be calibrated from the meter window using a pluggable key (mounted on the terminal block). The electrical contact switch contains not only multiple electrical contacts, but also a single setpoint. When the actual value pointer exceeds or falls below the set value, the electrical contact switches.
Electrical contact switches include magnetically-assisted electrical contacts, inductive electrical contacts, and electronic electrical contacts. Inductive electrical contacts can be used in hazardous areas. Electronic electrical contacts can be used to switch programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
