Description
All bimetal thermometers with live contacts are available for all applications that require process temperature display in the field and must switch circuits.
Electrical contact switch (also known as <; alarm electric contact”) can turn the circuit on or off according to the pointer position of the measuring instrument. The electric contact switch is adjustable over the full range. The meter pointer (actual value pointer) can be rotated freely over the entire range without being affected by the settings.
Setting the pointer can be corrected from the meter window using a pluggable key (mounted on the terminal block).
The electrical contact switch not only contains multiple electrical contacts, but can also set a single setpoint. When the actual value pointer exceeds or falls below the set value, the electrical contact switches.
Electrical contact switches include inductive electrical contacts and electronic electrical contacts. Inductive electrical contacts can be used in hazardous areas. Electronic electrical contacts can be used to switch programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
