Description
Thermal resistance thermometer without sheath is especially suitable for the following situations: metal probes are inserted directly into the hole (such as the parts of the machine), or directly into the process of any application, but the process is not chemical Corrosive or abrasive media.
If sheathed, it must be equipped with a spring, because the spring can reliably press the bottom end of the probe into the bottom of the sheath. Usually installed directly in the process. Fasteners such as threaded joints or coupling nuts can also be used.
The flexible part of the probe is a mineral insulated cable. The cable contains a stainless steel housing. The inner conductor is pressed into an insulated, high density ceramic material. The measuring resistor is connected to the inner conductor at the measuring end of the armored cable. Therefore, it is suitable for use at high temperatures.
Since the armored thermal resistance thermometer can be bent and the diameter can be made small, it can be used in places that are not easily accessible. In addition to the temperature sensing end and the tube seal of the connecting cable, the maximum radius to which the armored cable can be bent is three times the diameter of the wire.
Please note:
When the measured medium flow rate is very high, the flexibility of the armored thermal resistance probe must be considered.
We can choose WIKA analog or digital transmitters in the connection box.
