Description of orifice plate, orifice flange and ring chamber
Easy installation and operation
Differential pressure flowmeters are widely used in many industrial applications. The orifice plate is the most commonly used primary flow component in differential pressure flowmeters. The most important feature is that installation and maintenance are very simple.
The differential pressure generated by the throttling component is usually converted by the differential pressure transmitter into an electrical signal proportional to the flow.
Optimize products to meet customer needs
WIKA throttle components products can be optimized according to customer requirements to meet the actual application of the site. The product's opening design meets the special performance requirements of the equipment.
This product is available with RF, FF or RTJ sealing surfaces. For some special application needs, we can provide product designs that meet customer application standards.
Description of the orifice plate
Orifice plate is the most basic flow component, the aperture diameter of the orifice plate is calculated by the differential pressure value at full-scale flow. The orifice plate can be adapted to the measurement of a wide variety of media over a wide range.
Flanged plate product description
For the installation of orifice and nozzle products, in order to replace the pipe flange, a specific orifice flange is used. The orifice flanges are provided with a pair of pressure taps that are machined directly onto the orifice flanges to avoid opening pressure ports or other pressure-receiving devices on the pipeline.
Orifice assembly is done with jacking screws to ensure easy removal.
Description of the pressure in the ring chamber
Under difficult process conditions, ring chamber pressure is used to achieve stable measurements. The annular chamber orifice plate is mounted between the process flanges. The different pressures in the pipe are compensated by the gap between the inside of the pipe and the annular cavity.
