Description
Water content in SF6 gas filling equipment
In the medium and high voltage switchgear of grid operators, SF6 gas is a very efficient insulating medium with arc extinguishing function during switching.
But reality often has different situations, because there is very little absolute SF6 gas in the equipment. Depending on the amount of reactants present, if moisture is often present in the equipment, then after the energy is input, highly toxic decomposition products are formed. Such decomposition products not only have a strong corrosive effect on the inner surface of the can, but also gradually reduce the dielectric strength of the insulating material in the switchgear.
Gas drying in equipment during operation
GAD-2000 gas drying and purification system can reduce the water content in SF6 gas filling equipment. The system removes the gas, dries it separately, and then returns the gas to the gas chamber. This dual safety system includes a SIL2 safety control and gas density meter status inquiry component to ensure that there are no risks and problems during the operation of the switchgear.
In addition, the gas drying and purification system can also be equipped with a GSM module for transmitting data to the operator's mobile device. For example, information related to the estimated time remaining in the process or the current humidity value in the gas chamber, and information on necessary maintenance operations such as replacing the filter.
