Description
SF6 gas density is an important parameter of high voltage switchgear. If the gas concentration does not meet the design requirements, the device cannot guarantee safe operation.
Weika's gas density monitoring device can stabilize the output gas status signal and alert the gas density shortage status under normal environment and even harsh environmental conditions. If the gas density is reduced due to product leakage, the switch contacts of conventional products will signal. The new GDM-100-TI-D, which is different from the traditional products, performs auxiliary operations and outputs data with RS485 signals.
A wide range of applications
GDM-100-TI-D products only need a process interface to access the measurement point to measure gas temperature, pressure and density.
Through the on-site display, the meter can intuitively read the pressure value converted to 20 & deg; C. At the same time, the integrated design of the switching points will respond quickly and achieve functionality. The Modbus® digital output section allows remote control of the plant.
Remote monitoring with Modbus® digital signal output
The measured pressure, temperature and density data will be transmitted according to the MODBUS®   RTU communication protocol. Digital data transmission reduces cable costs and enables fine-grained measurements.
GDM-100-TI-D uses SCADA. to output data packets to the local controller or the total control center system in a continuous signal. The system will save and evaluate the data. All stored data will be used for trend analysis, so SF6 gas status can be pre-judged and corrected in a timely manner. The GDM-100-TI-D enables an optimized maintenance strategy from time-based maintenance (TBM) to state-based maintenance (CBM).
