Description
Continuous Monitoring
GA35 gas quantitative monitor is specifically designed to determine the concentration of SF6 gas in the enclosed space. When handling and storing SF6 gas, if improper operation or leakage occurs, it is likely to cause harmful amounts of SF6 to escape. The GA35 has a monitoring area of up to 250 m2.
SF6 is five times heavier than air, so high concentrations of SF6 gas are not only difficult to spread and will deposit downwards, so as to replace the air for breathing, causing suffocation.
GA35 continuously monitors ambient air through a non-scattering infrared sensor. Gas samples are usually taken from gas tanks or gas-insulated switchgear (where a large amount of SF6 gas may escape in a short period of time).
Reliable alerts
This model is equipped with a loud alarm to alert you to the concentration of dangerous gases in the air. SF6 has a larger molecular weight than indoor air, so the escaped SF6 will sink. For this reason, we can mount the sample box to a position close to the ground.
The sample box and pipe connection are equipped with a particle filter to ensure that the measurement results are not affected by impurities. In addition, the GA35 monitor is equipped with a flow control unit that provides a fault alarm in the event of a pump failure or a blocked air supply line to ensure reliable operation of the monitor.
