GIR-10 leak detector
Apps
Determining the leak location and leakage of SF6 inflatable equipment
Determining the leak rate of SF6 inflatable equipment at the final inspection

Features
can detect a minimum gas concentration of 0.6 ppmv
Only sensitive to SF6 gas, not affected by humidity and common volatile organic compounds (VOC)
Easy to use
Short response time
Verified with certified test gas at the factory

Description
GIR10 gas detector can detect very low concentration of SF6 gas, is ideal for detecting the location of the leak and the size of the leak.
Infrared technology
GIR10 uses non-dispersive infrared technology (NDIR) to achieve the fastest response and reliable measurement even with minimal leakage.
Easy to operate
The meter is easy to operate, both handheld and desktop models, and both models are equipped with a digital display for easy reading. The user can easily read the current readings on SF6 gas from any location.
Handheld meters are equipped with a movable gooseneck with a gas inlet on the front for moving leak detection. A replaceable filter is installed at the gas inlet to prevent inhalation of particulate matter and damage to the infrared sensor.
The desktop instrument is equipped with a pump that continuously draws in the gas mixture to provide continuous flow detection gas to the sampling chamber of the infrared sensor.
If there is already a low concentration of SF6 gas in the measurement environment, first clear the offset of the meter to 0 ppmv. This allows measurements greater than 0 ppmv to be considered as leaks, making leak detection easier.
Depending on the application model, an audible alarm will sound when the GIR10 detects that the SF6 gas concentration exceeds the specified concentration.
