Description of Diaphragm Pressure Gauge
Diaphragm pressure gauges are more suitable for low pressure range. The small pressure range can be reliably measured by the large working surface of the circular corrugated diaphragm element.
Type 432.50 diaphragm pressure gauge complies with EN 837-3. The high quality design is especially suitable for the chemical and petrochemical industries, the oil and gas industry and power engineering.
Stainless steel case and wetted parts meet the high demands of aggressiveness. For particularly high resistance requirements, the pressure chamber of the diaphragm gauge can be designed with a variety of special materials such as PTFE, tantalum or Hastelloy.
For the measurement of high viscosity, crystalline or contaminated media, open connection flanges are recommended. The open connection flange has the advantage over the threaded connection that it does not block the pressure port. The pressure chamber can be easily cleaned with an additional flush connection on the open connection flange.
The measurement system with diaphragm elements, based on the design concept that the diaphragm can support itself on the upper flange, can provide good overvoltage protection. As a standard, the 432.50 diaphragm pressure gauge can achieve overload safety of 5 times the full scale value. As an option, higher overload safety can be achieved.
