The new Wika Miniature Constant Temperature Tank is the perfect complement to the CTD9100 and CTD9300 dry well calibrators.
Dry-well temperature calibrator, due to its shallow immersion depth, usually leads to thermal conduction errors, which greatly increases the measurement uncertainty of short-type sensors. Even if the device under test can be compared to an external reference thermometer, accurate calibration of the short sensor cannot be performed. Once the length of the probe drops below 70 mm, the micro thermostat tank is definitely more suitable than the dry well temperature calibrator.
The micro thermostat tank also has many other advantages when calibrating multiple sensors simultaneously. For example, thermometers with different diameter probes can be calibrated at the same time, without the need for separate inserts.
This is especially useful during field calibration due to the variety of sensors to be tested and large diameter or unknown pipe probes.

Easy to use
The CTB9100 series of miniature thermostats are based on temperature-controlled liquids and have a working range of Ø 60 x 150 mm deep. The maximum immersion depth of the device under test is 150 mm, which reduces thermal conduction errors and reduces measurement uncertainty.
The calibrator controller is equipped with two buttons for quick and easy adjustment and control of the calibration temperature, and the calibrator has a large, high-contrast 4-digit LED display that simultaneously displays the heating block The actual temperature and set temperature to avoid read errors.
