It is used to achieve automatic level control of water tanks and reservoirs. The main valve is controlled by a float. When the liquid level drops, the float sends a signal to the solenoid on the main valve to open the valve and supply water to the tank. When the set level is reached, the signal sent to the spool is cut off, the valve is closed and the tank level remains constant.
