High pressure is generated during operation of steam piping and steam equipment, but when it stops working, the pipeline cools, causing steam to condense. During the condensation process, the steam temporarily forms a vacuum due to the volume reduction.
Ayvaz VK-71 vacuum breaker is used as a check valve. When a vacuum occurs in the line, it draws in air to prevent a vacuum effect.
VK-71 should be installed in the pipeline in a horizontal position.
