Ayvaz's VIB-FLEX anti-vibration hose is assembled from a ring-shaped corrugated stainless steel hose, high-strength stainless steel braided wire and brazed ends. Anti-vibration hoses reduce vibration and related damage, prevent noise from mechanical piping in all types of applications, and achieve good performance in refrigeration systems.
Vibration reduction
Vibration in mechanical systems poses many serious problems for manufacturers and users. Vibration can cause a lot of material fatigue in vibrating parts. For the convenience of the user, noise is also a problem that needs to be prevented.
Anti-vibration hoses are used on the supply lines of pumps, engines, cooling units or air conditioning units to reduce vibration and noise transmission.
The damper consists of a corrugated inner hose and a braid. The braid helps to increase the pressure rating and can provide end restrictions without the need to add control components.
Applications
The ring metal corrugated hose is selected for the system pressure, temperature and vibration direction, and is used for the connection between the following tools that are prone to high vibration.
Refrigeration System
Air conditioning unit
Heating pump
Pressure System
Pumps, Engines, Machines, Compressors
VIB-FLEX copper end is welded to the hose using TIG (inert gas shielded tungsten arc welding) welding method. Many other manufacturers tend to braze hoses and copper together. This approach seems to be able to complete the assembly economically.
VIB-FLEX TIG welding method
Three welding operations: VIB-FLEX is completed in three TIG welding operations in an argon-free environment, while the metal hose and copper end are welded together.
The first welding (A), the copper end is welded on the connecting ring; the second welding (B), the connecting ring is welded on the hose; the third welding (C), The steel braided wire and the outer ring are welded to the connecting ring.
TIG welding: TIG welding can fill more blank space, minimize the risk of hole formation, and this welding method can withstand extremely high temperatures.
The main advantages of three TIG welds compared to brazing
Safe and convenient
When a brazed anti-vibration hose is installed in the system, a wet towel or damp cloth is placed over the joint between the hose and the copper end to prevent component damage caused by overheating at the joint.
The three TIG welding methods used by VIB-FLEX prevent such problems. TIG welded products are not damaged by overheating. This safe construction also reduces installation time and installation costs accordingly.
Vertical installation
Normally, when the anti-vibration hose is installed in the icy zone, a frozen layer is formed on the surface of the hose. When the system is shut down, the ice begins to melt and the melt water flows to the copper end. Other manufacturers' designs create water build-up between the hose and the outer ring. When the system is restarted, the accumulated water freezes again and the volume becomes larger, which causes the hose to burst inwardly.
Due to the clever design of VIB-FLEX, there is no water accumulation anywhere. The connecting ring prevents this type of hazard from occurring and allows the hose assembly to function effectively.
