Process Industry: Machinery Manufacturing, General Equipment Construction, Chemical and Petrochemical Industries, Power Stations, Mining, Onshore and Offshore Applications, and Environmental Technology
Functional characteristics of instrument valves
Globe valves without test fittings to DIN 16270 (with bleeder screws)
The globe valve with test fittings complies with DIN 16271 (with bleed screw)
The globe valve with independent isolation test joints in accordance with DIN 16272
Nominal pressure: up to 40 MPa
Description of the instrument valve
Type A instrumentation valves with LH/RH (left-handed/right-handed) unions, while Type B has shafts, threaded nipples and union nuts for mounting brackets. Instrumentation valves with test fittings are mainly used to connect working pressure measuring instruments and pressure gauges with test fittings to pressure pipes at the same time.
For DIN 16271-compliant instrumentation valves, the test shaft uses a lenticular seal and a top-end nut seal; for DIN 16272-compliant valves, the test shaft is passed an additional The stem is isolated separately. The instrument valve is silicone free.
