Description
Overview
VIATOR® HART® Modem is a PC communication path for commissioning, repairing, calibrating, or acquiring data from any HART® device or transmitter connected to the HART® network. The modem is low power, operates independently, and is fully compliant with the HART® protocol.
Driver Software
VIATOR® Modem software supports the connection between the HART® device and the PC. The driver software is available for each model and can be downloaded from the manufacturer.
Designed for ease of use
Modem is packaged in a small, rugged ABS plastic case for industrial environments. Different versions of the modem can be connected to the computer via Bluetooth®, a short full USB cable termination, connector or RS-232 connector to allow communication with the field instrument via a complete cable termination between the two test clips.
