Description
TW22 jacket is used to install the thermometer or measuring component into the measurement process to protect the sensor from harsh process conditions. The sheath is fitted to a suitable sanitary fitting through a welded-in nozzle and can be installed in pipes and vessels.
With a rotatable threaded connection, the connector or display can be released and adjusted to the desired position.
When used with TR21-A and TR22-A RTD thermometers, the connector can be removed with the measuring component. In this way, the user can verify the thermometer and the entire measurement chain together in the field without disconnecting any electrical connectors. In addition, this also avoids opening process connections, which greatly reduces the risk of contamination.
