O-ring: EPDM rubber
1•10-8 mbar•l/s level helium leak test to ensure system air tightness
Description
In the absence of self-sealing joints, it is almost impossible to keep SF6 gas in the circuit breaker during the inflation process. The three-way valve is specially designed to include a DN-20 inflation port, a special regulator (a leak-free check for the gas density monitor), and a self-sealing valve for the gas density monitor.
Under normal conditions, the valve is in the "Open" position to allow SF6 gas to flow into the gas density monitor. Use a special key to turn the valve knob and screw the valve to the “Close” position. The valve knob has a red arrow that points to the “Open” or “Close” area in the visible range. In this way, the user can clearly see the exact position of the valve. Once the knob reaches the “close” position, the valve will be 100% closed, but the user can still further tighten the knob to a deeper position in the “closed” area.
The connection threads of the DN 20 valve and gas density monitor are lubricated with graphite for easy installation or removal of the GLTC20 protective cap.
